PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

EIZO ships new 27 inch monitors, including their first 27” 4K/UHD ColorEdge display

Company also updates cloud monitor management solution

EIZO Inc. announced they are now shipping their new ColorEdge CS2731 and CS2740 monitors. The CS2731 is the long-awaited replacement for the CS2730, which is their standard resolution (2560×1440) 27 inch hobbyist/entry-pro color display.

CS2740 is EIZO’s first 27” 4K (3840×2160) monitor in the ColorEdge lineup, with the same hobbyist/entry-pro feature set as the CS2731. With the ColorEdge CS series, you get all the benefits of EIZO ColorEdge technology, such as wide gamut 10-bit display, patented DUE Uniformity Correction, 16-bit LUT, and Color Navigator calibration software at a reduced price compared their self-calibrating CG series.

The company also updated their monitor management solution, ColorNavigator Network. CN Network, which is free to all EIZO ColorEdge users enables a quick and easy web-browser view of the calibration status of all ColorEdge CG monitors in their network, as well as allowing a single admin user to control the calibration settings and schedule of all fleet monitors from one location, regardless of where in the world the monitors are located. The key enhancement in the update is a platform switch from Flash to HTML5, along with some UI enhancements.
