National Comic Book Day is September 25th,  but we’re such big fans of comic books that we don’t believe one day is enough, so we have decided to celebrate for the entire month of September. Annex Pro and Wacom Canada want to celebrate National Comic Book Day by honoring the amazing art that gave us Spiderman, Batman, Archie, and many more.

“The Yellow Kid in McFadden’s Flats” is credited with popularizing comics in North America back in 1897 and was published in New York. Since then comics have grown and evolved to include graphic novels, digital comics, and Webtoons. To celebrate this artform we invite you to enter our #AnnexProHero 2022 Comic Book Competition. Pay tribute to comic books and their heroes by creating an artwork that answers the question: 

“If Annex Pro was a superhero, what would we look like?” 

We want you to use your imagination and creativity to showcase what Annex Pro would look like while saving the day. Do we wear a cape? Are we rocking Spandex? YOU DECIDE! 

Post your artwork on Instagram with the hashtag #AnnexProHero for a chance to win a Wacom Cintiq 16 as the first prize and some cool Annex Pro merchandise for two runner-ups.

#AnnexProHero 2022 National Comic Book Competition Rules to qualify: 

• You must follow Annex Pro and Wacom Canada on Instagram. 
• Your entry should be posted on your Instagram account, using the #AnnexProHero. 
• Tagging 3 friends on the Competition post and your post is necessary. 
• Must be located in Canada. 
• You don’t have to be a Wacom user to participate. 
• You don’t have to be a professional artist to be featured. 
• The challenge will be judged by Collin Chan, a well-known artist from the industy.
• The last date to send in your entry is 30th September. 
• Challenge winners will be announced on October 5th, 2022. and winners will be announced on our Instagram page. 
• Entry must be an original design.
