Who will be there?

Mike Baskerville is an award-winning recording Re-Recording Mixer who has been one of Toronto’s leading audio professionals for over 30 years. 

Mike is currently the Manager of Sound Operations at Company 3 (formerly known as Deluxe) Toronto and a few of his credits include Guillermo del Toro’s Academy Award® winning feature “The Shape of Water”,  Amazon’s Sci-Fi series “The Expanse”, hit franchise “Resident Evil”, and Netflix feature “Polar”.

Dolby

Tom McAndrew is the Senior Technical Manager for Content Relations at Dolby Laboratories, evangelizing Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technologies for streaming and optical media.

Prior to Dolby, Tom was a sound designer at Henninger Video doing documentary sound design, most notably for Discovery’s military aviation series “Wings” and the Emmy-nominated “Vietnam POW’s – Stories of Survival”.

Avid

Jeff Komar is a 20 year veteran of the Avid solutions specialist team focusing on professional audio products. He is a musician, engineer and technician who enjoys helping creative people navigate the flux of technology. Jeff has played a key role in many high-level demonstrations for Avid at industry events in the US and around the world including AES, NAMM, NAB & IBC. Jeff has been instrumental in helping major facilities to optimize their workflow by integrating solutions from Avid.

Dell

Ziad Najjar comes from an Engineering background and has been in the Technology field for more than 25 years. He has held a number of leadership roles and currently is leading a National Team of Technologists and Subject Matter Experts in areas such as AI, Big Data & Data Analytics and High-Performance Computing. Prior to his current role, Ziad led and helped establish different teams and practices with different areas of focus and skill sets from sales to technical backgrounds
